Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell wants to do even better compared to last season.

The 24-year-old says he is hoping to hit new heights in the 2023/2024 campaign.

Mitchell, who has two England caps from 2022, wants to boost his numbers in terms of attacking contributions this season.

It's something I know I can be better at: creating opportunities for the forward players", he told reporters.

It's definitely something I've taken more seriously as the years have gone by.

It's something we work on, on the training ground: me staying wide while other players are inside, and [me] giving the width.

I know Odsonne [Edouard] is a great striker. I know if I go wide, he's going to go to the front post, so it's about getting him the ball. He'll finish it and that's what he did [against Wolves]."
